Midcoast Community Chorus “Any Concert!” Official Raffle Rules

Effective October 5, 2025

  1. Sponsor: The raffle is sponsored and administered by Midcoast Community Chorus (“MCC”), a nonprofit corporation located at P.O. Box 192, Rockport, Maine 04856.

  2. Eligibility: Raffle tickets may be purchased only by persons 18 years of age or older. Winners must be legally eligible to receive a prize and to attend the events they choose, including compliance with any venue or travel requirements (e.g., identification, visas, vaccinations). Members of MCC staff, and their immediate households, are not eligible to win.

  3. Tickets: Tickets are $20 each. A maximum of 1,200 tickets will be sold. Tickets are available only through MCC members or singers. Tickets can be purchased with cash, check, or by debit card. Tickets will not be sold online.

  4. Prizes:

    • First Prize: Up to $2,500 in eligible expenditures.

    • Second Prize: Up to $1,000 in eligible expenditures.

    • Third Prize: Up to $500 in eligible expenditures.

    Eligible expenditures may include: concert tickets, travel expenses, one overnight accommodation, and/or one meal. Each prize is for the winner and any guest(s) of their choosing.

  5. Limitations on Prizes:

    • All prize amounts represent maximum reimbursable or prepaid expenditures. Any costs beyond these limits are the sole responsibility of the winner.

    • Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash or other items of value.

    • Any unused portion of the maximum prize amount is forfeited.

  6. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected by a public random drawing and announced at the MCC concert on January 25, 2026 (or the inclement weather date of February 1, 2026). Winners do not need to be present to win.

  7. Claiming Prizes:

    • Each winner must provide MCC with written notice of their chosen concert (“event”), date, and location at least ninety (90) days in advance, by email to info@mccsings.org or by mail to MCC, P.O. Box 192, Rockport, Maine 04856.

    • Chosen events and related travel must be completed before February 1, 2027 or the prize is forfeit.

    • MCC staff will work with winners to purchase advance tickets and travel arrangements when feasible. Alternatively, winners may make purchases directly and submit itemized receipts for reimbursement.

    • Reimbursement receipts must be submitted by February 1, 2027. No claims will be honored after this date.

  8. Receipt Requirements:

    • Travel receipts must directly relate to travel to/from the event and fall within a reasonable number of days before or after the event.

    • Meal receipts must be dated on the same day as the chosen concert.

  9. Reimbursement Process: MCC will issue reimbursement payments within thirty (30) days of receiving valid receipts. Reimbursements will be made by check, payable to the winner.

  10. Availability of Events: MCC makes no guarantee of availability for any particular concert, date, or location. If the winner’s chosen event is unavailable, MCC will work with the winner to identify a suitable alternative.

  11. Cancellations: MCC is not responsible for canceled or postponed events, travel delays, or other force majeure circumstances beyond its control.

  12. Taxes: Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, or local taxes, fees, or other government assessments that may be associated with acceptance or use of the prize.

  13. General Conditions: Participation constitutes acceptance of these rules. Decisions of MCC regarding interpretation and application of these rules are final and binding.
