Grants and Beneficiaries

Since it’s inception 20 years ago, MCC performs an annual concert to raise awareness of and funds for a nonprofit organization that addresses an important need in our local area. In 2026, Midcoast Community Chorus is again planning to give concerts in both January and June, where we will announce and provide a grant to benefit a Midcoast nonprofit organization. The grant will be in the amount of $5,000.00.

MCC’s 2026 Beneficiary will be announced at our upcoming concert on January 25th at 3:00pm.

Applications for our 2026 grant are now closed. Thank you to ALL of our wonderful and worthy applicants! Our 2027 grant application will open in August 2026 and must be postmarked by November 2, 2026. Last year at the June 2025 concert, “Sing OUT!”, the chorus performed beautiful musical selections to benefit the programming of OUT Maine, a Rockland-based nonprofit that supports LGBTQIA2S+ youth and their families statewide.
