When we sing,
we change who we are.
When we change who we are,
we change the world.

Beneficiary Application

Applications are now being accepted for selection as the beneficiary of proceeds from the June 2020 concert by Midcoast Community Chorus.  Under the direction of Artistic Director Steve Weston, Midcoast Community Chorus is a vibrant 160-voice, non-auditioned, multigenerational, community chorus with a mission to “sing as a community for the community.”   Well known for its dynamic sold out concerts, MCC sings music of hope, healing, peace and transformation from all over the world.  With the belief that "when we sing we change who we are, when we change who we are, we change the world," MCC performs at least two concerts a year.   Each spring concert is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for a local non-profit organization which addresses community needs and social injustice.

Any organization interested in applying must be a local non-profit located within the greater Knox County area.  The application deadline is November 13, 2019.

Applicants may either complete the form at the bottom of this page and submit with appropriate documentation or print out the form and mail it in to MCC, PO Box 192, Rockport, ME 04856.
