Midcoast Community Chorus is dependent on donations, grants, sponsorships, and business underwriters in order to successfully fulfill its mission to sing as a community for the community.
Why do we need your donation?
Our singers pay registration fees for each semester of singing but this barely covers the hard costs of music, venue rental, accompanist, and other materials. Our policy is that everyone is welcome to sing with us, so we offer partial and full scholarships and flexible payment plans to singers on an as needed basis.
Our January concert raises critical operating funds for MCC but we donate the proceeds from our June concerts to a local non-profit organization doing important work in our community. Thus, MCC must seek funds from a variety of sources in order to make ends meet.
Every donation is important to us and is used as efficiently and carefully as possible as we carry out our mission in the community. Please consider making a donation, committing to a membership, or providing for MCC in your estate planning.
