When we sing,
we change who we are.
When we change who we are,
we change the world.

Adult Chorus

MCC is a non-auditioned chorus for all singers twelve years of age and up. We offer two semesters of singing each year that culminate in concert performances. Our fall semester begins in mid-September leading to a January concert and our spring semester begins in mid-February and ends with our June benefit concert. Singers are provided with online training tools and weekly rehearsals to ready for our performances. Under the direction of Mimi Bornstein, this large group of singers (140 voices on average) prepares eight to twelve pieces for concert. Singers in this group also learn basic choral, sight reading and voice training skills. Singers are expected to practice their music approximately one hour a week outside of weekly rehearsals. MCC rehearses every Monday night from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Semester Fees and Registration

Semester fees apply for each season of singing. These fees, currently $80, include  annual membership dues and help to cover the costs of sheet music, rehearsal venue rentals, accompanist, chorus communications, practice tools and other costs that must be met to allow us to sing together every Monday night during the spring and fall concert seasons. Full and partial scholarships are available if needed, as well as flexible payment plans.

Our next semester  begins on Monday, September 18th, with registration starting at 5:00pm and will continue the following 2 Mondays beginning at 5pm. Registration is held at The Elm Street Congregational Church on Elm Street in Camden.. This is also the location for our weekly rehearsals. For more information please call 207.975.0582
